This photo shows five people wearing coats having difficulties trudging through an uneven and mountain terrain. By using rocks and leaves to make the setting look like a mountain and cling wrap to represent snow, I was able to take an image highlighting the idea of friendship and hardships. This photo was not taken to my satisfaction as the background is blurrier than the foreground. I tried to change the aperture value multiple times in order to get this image to look presentable, however, I was unable to achieve this.

This photo displays a worker on a Vegemite jar holding a baby, about to get dropped off into a bin whilst a careless businessman father is distracted on a phone. This photo was made in order to spread awareness of modern technology disconnecting family members and the nuisance it causes to surrounding people. This photo was taken to my satisfaction as the shadow on the table makes everything seem more realistic. However, this photo could have definitely been improved if the details were emphasised through manipulating the light better by lowering the ISO to make the image less sensitive to light.

This photo shows two ice skaters falling off the ice whilst a woman who is eating ice-cream is watching. By using an ice cube to represent an ice rink, I was able to capture an image that showed the dangers of ice skating through the use of miniature figures. I believe that this shot was well taken and successful as the main subjects of this arrangement were in focus and the side character which was the lady was blurred, showing her insignificant role in the set.

Due to my many absences when we were taking miniature figure photos, I went to Hobbyco in QVB to buy some miniature figures so I can take a few photos at home. I used a spare thumbtack to stick a man to a board and added red paint to make it seem like he is bleeding. In my opinion, I like this photo the best due to how simple it is. However, I am dissatisfied with the lack of creativity behind this photo. This photo could have been improved if more miniature figures were introduced to the arrangement.
